This collection has 4 sets of designs, representing 4 timelines during Lunar New Year Celebration (Tết), including Tất Niên, Giao Thừa, Chính Đán, và Khai Xuân.
Tất Niên is the period when The Preparation for Tết begins. This time is all about the excitement and hushing through time, hoping to reach the finish line before Giao Thua. In the vibrant colors of spring with zinnias, violets, and gladiolus, the floral arrangement represents the heart of Tet festivities, as well as showing respect to the Gods and spirits by thanking them for every blessing throughout the year.
Giao Thừa means The Transition when the old year passes, the new year comes. This design embodies the significance of the last night of the former year, a deeply revered time when families unite to usher in the new year with optimism and bid farewell to the old. Daffodils, irises, coriander branches, and the vibrant red-billed leiothrix symbolizes purity, fresh beginnings, and a warm welcome to embrance this special occasion.
Chính Đán is named after the First Morning of the First Day, represents the best wishes in Lunar New Year. Magpie birds, chrysanthemums, pomegranates, lucky coins, and envelopes symbolize good fortune and prosperity to welcome blessings into every family.
And last but not least, Khai Xuân, translated to Spring Awakening, represents new begining in spring, with joyful spirits, blooming orchids, pretty butterflies, the cheerful sounds of folk instruments.
